Southern Ignatian Network (SIgN)
The Southern Ignatian Network is:
- a network of people giving support and
encouragement to each other as they seek to develop a way of life inspired
by the teachings of Ignatius.
- a network which links those engaged in any way in
Ignatian spirituality in the region: the south-east, and south-west of
England, the West Country, South Wales and London.
- an ecumenical network - open to all regardless of
which part of the church, if any, they find themselves.
- a network where members are concerned to discover
together how to develop and promote a spirituality that sustains individuals
and groups in their work for justice in the world.
In order to encourage people in their work, two
gatherings are organised each year, the aim of which is to discover together
ways of integrating prayer and everyday living. A newsletter is published at
least twice a year to keep members informed of what is happening in the region.
The SIgN Support Group is an ecumenical group
of eleven members elected at the AGM and, as its name suggests, it is a support
both for the facilitator and for the activities organised by the network.
