It is my intention to make this site as accessible as possible to as many users as possible. I want those with disabilities and those who are using handheld devices such as mobile phones and PDAs to be able to view it. This is a work in progress. I am interested in your experience of this site. You can [e]mail me, or look on the [C]ontact page.
Accesskeys
Where a link can be accessed by an Accesskey, the relevant letter may be in square brackets. To use this facility, you must hold down the [Alt] key and then hit the Accesskey. In Internet Explorer you must then hit [Enter].
The following Accesskeys may also been implemented (and may be invisible):
- [A] Accessibility Page (i.e. this page)
- [H] Home Page
- [N]/[P] next/previous page or menu item
- [S] Site Map
Text Size
Go to View > Text Size to change the size of text. With Internet Explorer 6, it looks best with the Medium setting. In other browsers [Ctrl++] and [Ctrl+-] can be used to make the text bigger and smaller. [Ctrl+0] will return things to 'normal'.
Browsers
This website has been tested in Windows in current versions of [1]Firefox, [2]Internet Explorer, [3]Mozilla, [4]Netscape Navigator, and [5]Opera. It has also been tested in IE5, NN4.8, Linux-based browsers, Konqueror and Firefox, and on a [6]Palm Tungsten T3. Downloads of current browsers are free and I encourage you to get the up-to-date versions, which are more standards compliant and accessibility friendly. Happy surfing!
